Tywi - One of the finest sea trout (known as sewin in Wales) rivers in Europe,
Teifi - The county’s second largest river rises in the Cambrian Mountains, flows west to east along Carmarthenshire’s northern border and is renowned for its salmon fishing with sea troutto name but a few, and offer miles of top class salmon and sea trout rivers, and trout streams.
Cothi - As major tributary to the Tywi and said to be as good as its parent river with up to 40% of the sewin and salmon in the system heading up this river.
Gwili - Another tributary of the Tywi, though not as well known as the Cothi, the Gwili is a short dramatic river that snakes north from Carmarthen through deep wooded gorges, following some of the A484 road towards Newcastle Emlyn.
There are of course many well-stocked game and coarse fisheries such as the Garnffrwd fishery only a few miles from us. With . If you've never felt the feeling of a big fish on the fly line then this is the place to come!
And don't forget the beautiful coastline which lends itself perfectly to sea fishing - whether you prefer a spot of beach fishing or set off for a day on the waves.
Its the ideal location for spending long summer days exploring lovely coves and fishing for bass along rocky shorelines.
Carmarthenshire has two surf beaches, Pendine (a true storm beach with excellent fishing and clean golden sands) and Cefn Sidan (the longest, sandies beach in Wales) at Pembrey Country Park, and both offer excellent fishing for a wide variety of sea fish including sea bass, flounder, dabs, mullet and tope.

'Our Stay in your establishment was very enjoyable, the service i received from all the staff was second to none and the food was marvellous. My husband enjoyed his time fishing in the local rivers and we would like to say a big thank you to your chef for excellently preparing the fish that my husband caught in the lovely River Towy, will be returning again next year to be sure.
